Prerequisites:

Hardware

  1. Minimum specifications:
  2. CPU - Celeron or higher
  3. RAM - 8GB or more
  4. Video Card - Intel 630 or higher
  5. SSD Hard Drive

Software

  1. Windows 10, 11 or higher
    Warning
    NOTICE Windows 10 is no longer supported by Microsoft and no security updates are deployed anymore
  2. Administrator user on said OS
  3. 7zip installed
  4. Vcredist x86 installed
  5. Vcredist x64 installed
  6. Dot net 4.61 installed
  7. DirectX installed
  8. Flash player installed
  9. Jackpot participant installed, if needed

Prepare the PC/Laptop:

  1. Download and Install 7zip-(link to download it) -  https://www.7-zip.org/download.html
  2. Download and Install Chrome browser
  3. Create solidity folder in C drive
  4. Make sure the DD PC has a minimum of 2 active and connected displays
  5. Download the applications and prerequisites:
    All installation packages will be found on a link that will be sent, Example of the link is https://solidadminconsole.com/getting-started/[Gs Number]
    OR
    -     Download Version 3.71 using the link   https://we.tl/t-zVh9qzPnGP
    - Download vcredist package including vcredistx86, vcredistx64, dotnet framework 4.61, directX       https://marting.wetransfer.com/downloads/cbc35e78043a456e81566a041ac4350e20240412083657/609921
    - Download Flashplayer    https://workdrive.zohopublic.eu/external/6ab6b9a11586accb2d19b56f6bbb284d7149169dc207a3fcee38ed1579c664f9/download
    - Download Jackpot Participant, IF NEEDED -  https://confluence.editec.co:8443/display/ITK/Cloud+JP+display+fix
    - Download and keep separate the config files for the Cashier application and the Display application
Idea
Make sure you have these 4 archives.
Warning
Please unzip all folders including SolidityClient371 using 7-Zip
Notes
After unzipping you should have the below exe files.

Install all prerequisites:

  1. vcredist X86
  2. vcredist X64
  3. dot net framework 4.61
  4. DirectX - the provided installer
    The above 4 installers are all included in vcredist package above.
  5. FlashPlayer  
  6. Jackpot participant - if needed
Alert
The first 5 installers are compulsory for the DD and CT apps to run correctly.


Unpack and configure Solidity apps:

  1. Unpack previously downloaded SolidityClient.zip using 7zip
  2. Please try to lower the UAC - the confirmation message should not appear and it can cause issues.
Copy content of extracted folder in 2 separated folders:
  1. For Cashier app: C:/Solidity/Solidity_CT
  2. For Display app: C:/Solidity/Solidity_DD

Copy config files in the folders (previously downloaded from the getting started guide):
  1. For Cashier: copy the POS solidityclient.exe.config in C:/Solidity/Solidity_CT - overwrite, if another file exists.
  2. For Display: copy the Display solidityclient.exe.config in C:/Solidity/Solidity_DD - overwrite, if another file exists.

Start and confirm apps:

1. For Display, DD app, start app and wait for it to update - it will need to download and install a package of minimum 800MB; after update it will show a confirmation code - send this code and the shop name / GS number to Solidicon support. An example as the screenshot below.
If successful, game animations will start running.



















2. For Cashier, CT app, start the app and wait for it to update - it will download around 100MB; after the update you need to start Manager Card Initialization Process ; during the process a small message will interrupt, asking for confirmation : send the confirmation code and shop name/GS number to Solidicon support. As shown on the screenshot below.
If successful, manager initialization process will be allowed to proceed, then login.

For any shop user, be it manager or cashier, you need to set a barcode number for them, basically the account username for it.
You can generate these codes in any barcode generator, like below, then print them on a paper and stick them with a transparent scotch on a plastic card.

The code should be 6 chars long, only numbers.

Briefly, the user initial process: enter the pin code, enter the temporary password (Will be sent by the support team), set the new password(need to confirm it - enter 2 times), assign a card - assigning a barcode to the account, for ease of use.
You can generate your own cards or use some of the attached ones we have for internal use

IF not wanting to use barcodes for agent and cashier logins

Using the key combination Ctrl+S simulates scanning any number in system clipboard
Copy the code in clipboard using Ctrl+C, then select the Solidity CT app, use Ctrl+S to input the previously copied code.
